The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) serves as an advisory body to provide codm investigators with research consultation and mentorship. It provides codm investigators with opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and share ideas about research studies, grant applications, IRB protocols, research and statistical methods, publications and conference presentations. Its meetings are run by faculty and staff. The RAC has multifaceted objectives: (1) to enhance and sustain codm’s research mission, (2) to facilitate research efforts and collaborations, (3) to promote research scholarship, (4) to create a momentum of research energy and enthusiasm, and (5) to develop more qualified faculty to mentor students and residents in research.

In-person meetings are held in the South Jordan College of Dental Medicine Clinical Outcomes Research and Education Conference Room (Room 517) from 12pm to 1pm (Mountain Time) the first and third Wednesdays each month.
